Amanda Cooper -
Dietician
Amanda is a clinical dietitian who has
worked in the public health system and in
nutrition and medical research. She
currently teaches nutrition at University.
During the years she spent working towards
her qualifications she had three children,
and developed a keen interest in all aspects
of childhood nutrition.
For 8 years she
was actively involved in Australian
Breastfeeding Association as a community
educator.
Still keenly interested in
promoting better infant and child health
through better nutrition, Amanda hopes to
become further involved in research as her children become older.
Amanda,
Claire and Leanne are currently discussing a
new Birthing Sense project that will help
many families to introduce new foods to
their babies.
Amanda
discusses good nutrition in pregnancy for
DVD 1 on Pregnancy for the Birthing Sense
series, as well as sharing some of her
experiences as a mother of active young
sons!
